Thoughts to keep in mind while doing the exercises
These pages are always a guide and you should never be too slavish to them. You’ll eventually want to play be ear; you’ll want to do them ascending and descending from different spots on the scale and the like.
Keep it fresh. Always remember the goal is to become fluent with reading from the page and playing by ear.
